B-Line Stack LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the WarNTY mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1.1 Personal Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address - Required for account creation and communication
  • Display name - Optional, may be obtained from authentication providers
  • Profile photo - Optional, may be obtained from authentication providers
  • Authentication credentials - Securely managed through Firebase Authentication

1.2 Warranty and Product Data

To provide our warranty management services, we collect:

  • Product information (name, brand, category, model number, serial number)
  • Purchase details (date, price, retailer information)
  • Warranty information (expiration date, warranty type, provider details)
  • Coverage details (labor, parts, accidental damage, transferability)
  • Claim records and notes

1.3 Documents and Files

You may upload the following types of documents:

  • Warranty documents and receipts
  • Warranty cards and terms documentation
  • Photos of products or related materials

Supported file formats include JPEG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, and PDF. File size limits are 3 MB for free users and 10 MB for Pro users.

1.4 AI Interaction Data

When you use our AI-powered features, we collect:

  • Questions you ask about your warranties
  • AI-generated responses and extracted information
  • Conversation history linked to specific warranties
  • Text extracted from uploaded documents

1.5 Device and Usage Information

We automatically collect:

  • Device type (iOS or Android)
  • Operating system version
  • App version
  • Usage statistics (warranty count, AI questions asked, extractions performed)
  • Account activity timestamps
  • Push notification tokens (if notifications are enabled)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's functionality
  • Process and store your warranty information
  • Send warranty expiration notifications and alerts
  • Power AI features for document extraction and warranty Q&A
  • Generate claim packs for warranty claims
  • Process subscription purchases and manage account tiers
  • Improve our services and develop new features
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns and trends
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

3.1 Firebase (Google)

  • Firebase Authentication - Manages user accounts and sign-in
  • Cloud Firestore - Stores user data, warranties, and conversations
  • Firebase Storage - Stores uploaded documents and files
  • Cloud Functions - Processes AI requests and backend operations
  • Firebase Analytics - Collects usage analytics
  • Firebase Crashlytics - Monitors app stability and crashes
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging - Delivers push notifications

3.2 Authentication Providers

  • Google Sign-In - If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name, and profile photo from Google
  • Sign in with Apple - If you sign in with Apple, we receive your email (or a relay email) and optionally your name

3.3 RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat receives your purchase information from the App Store or Google Play Store. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

4. Device Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions:

  • Camera - To take photos of warranty documents and receipts
  • Photo Library / Media - To select existing photos and documents from your device
  • Notifications - To send warranty expiration reminders and alerts (optional)

You can manage these permissions in your device settings at any time.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase infrastructure provided by Google. We implement the following security measures:

  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
  • Data is encrypted at rest in Firebase servers
  • Authentication is required for all data access
  • User data is isolated - you can only access your own warranties and documents
  • Firebase Security Rules enforce data access controls

Your data is stored in Firebase servers located in the United States.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

  • Account data - Retained until you request account deletion
  • Warranties and documents - Retained until you delete them or request account deletion
  • AI conversation history - Retained until you delete the associated warranty or request account deletion
  • Analytics data - Retained according to Firebase Analytics retention policies (typically 14 months)

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access - View your data within the App at any time
  • Correction - Edit your warranty information and profile details
  • Deletion - Delete individual warranties or request complete account deletion
  • Notification preferences - Control push and email notification settings
  • Sign out - Sign out of your account at any time

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@warnty.app.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States where our service providers, including Firebase, maintain servers. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

10. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect about you
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt-out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell your data)
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
